BABIG "BOB" R. BABIGIAN

BABIG "BOB" R. BABIGIAN, 82, of Grassmere St., Warwick, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Kent County Memorial Hospital in Warwick surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Rose (Almeida) Babigian and the late Mary (Topalian) Babigian.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Depan and Zahig (Bejian) Babigian, he resided in Warwick since 1963.
Bob was a tooling engineer and model maker for Hasbro, Inc. in Pawtucket for many years before retiring in 1988.
He was a distinguished WW-II Army Veteran. He was a member of Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church and was a past Trustee; a past Master of Orpheus Lodge #36; a member of Thomas Smith Webb Lodge #43; and a member of the RI Shriners and Scottish Rite Free Masons.
Besides his wife, he was the beloved father of Stephen R. Babigian and his wife Kathy of South Kingstown and Roberta M. "Robbie" Babigian of Warwick; step-father of Ann-Marie Le Page of Warwick and the late Freddy Aurelio and his wife Jackie of Pawtucket; brother of John Babigian of Warwick; loving grandfather of 5 and great-grandfather of 8.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday 5-8 p.m.
Interment with Military Honors will be in North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence, RI 02909.
