AVIS M. (PARKER) LOVEGREEN

84, of Felucca Ave., Jamestown, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Village House Nursing Home in Newport. She was the beloved wife for 61 years of Charles W. Lovegreen, Jr. Born in New Bedford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Ann (Hesketh) Parker. Mrs. Lovegreen was an information operator for New England Telephone & Telegraph for 15 years before retiring. Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Steven D. Lovegreen and his wife Mary of Jamestown and Craig P. Lovegreen and his wife Alison of North Kingstown; loving grandmother of five; loving great-grandmother of seven; and dear sister of the late Clayton Parker. Funeral Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held on Wednesday, November 7th at 10 a.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home-SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt.1A), Narragansett, followed by interment at RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
