AVIS M. BRANIGAN
85, of Warwick, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Brentwood Nursing Home in Warwick. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Ferguson) Branigan. Avis was employed by the VA Hospital until her retirement. Miss Branigan was the Godmother of Kathleen Dunphy. Avis was the sister of the late William Branigan, Jr. She is also survived by a niece and nephew.
Funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi, Jefferson Blvd., Warwick at 11:00 a.m. VISTING HOURS: Wednesday morning 9:00-10:00 a.m. Burial will be held in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
