AURORA S. "ORA" (PETRUCCI) VILLUCCI

of Cranston passed away peacefully on December 13, 2020, at Cedar Crest Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of 50 years of the late Louis Villucci, Jr. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Antonetta (Danella) Petrucci.

Ora spent most of her working life in the jewelry industry retiring from Vargas Manufacturing in 1990. She lived a full life dedicated to her family, extended family and Catholic faith. She loved fashion, jewelry and “her make up”. She loved the beach and spending time at the ocean. She enjoyed watching and listening to Yankees Baseball, especially cheering for Derek Jeter.

Ora is survived by her two loving sons and two beautiful daughters in-law, who were the love of her life and was so proud of: Louis Villucci, III and his wife Valerie of Hopkinton, RI and Robert Villucci, and his wife Laurie of North Providence, RI.

Ora is the cherished grandmother of three: Joseph (Kaitlyn) Villucci, Steven (Amanda) Villucci and Michael Villucci.

Ora was blessed with 3 great-granddaughters who made her eyes light up: Aurora, Isla and Sophia.

Ora had three beautiful sisters and two wonderful brothers: the late Stella (Dando) DiManna, Levia (John) Fraioli, Natalie (“Auntie Nat”) Petrucci, Alfred (Ruth) Petrucci and Frank (Lucy) Petrucci. She is survived by her special sister-in-law Gerrie Giarrusso. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who she loved so much.

We would like to acknowledge the Cedar Crest Nursing Home staff, which became part of our family the past two years, for all their amazing love and care for our mother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Anthony’s Church 1413 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, RI 02904. Seating is limited due to Covid guidelines. Burial will be private.
