AUGUSTINE SACCOCCIO

Augustine Saccoccio 88, of Cranston passed away Friday December 12, 2008 at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Olivia (Ferriae) Saccoccio. He was born in Cranston a son of the late Longino and Luiga (Palmaccio) Saccoccio. Mr. Saccoccio was a self-employed jewelry manufacturer. He was an avid golfer and gardener, and was a member of the Cranston AC Club, West Warwick and Cranston Country Clubs. Augustine was also a WW II Navy veteran. Augustine is survived by his loving children, Anita Lang of San Antonio, TX and Paul Saccoccio of East Dover, VT and was the cherished grandfather of 4 and great grandfather of 5. He was also the brother of Mary Saccoccio and Philip Saccoccio of Cranston. He was predeceased by his sister Roslyn Renner and brothers Harry, Rinaldo, Felice Saccoccio and Frank Scott. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary's Church Cranston St. Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 5-8 pm.
