101, of Lincoln formerly of Cranston, passed away Tuesday August 15, 2023 at Cedar Crest Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Cranston, She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Iaciofano.
Born in Warren, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Giulia (Cicerone) Maggiacomo. Assunta was a senior auditor in the loan department at Greater Providence Trust for many years before retiring.
She was the devoted mother of Patricia A. Catallozzi and her husband Vin of FL., Linda S. Iaciofano of Cranston, Kenneth J. Iaciofano of Cranston and Joseph Iaciofano, Jr. and his wife Julie of Lincoln; loving grandmother of Michael Baker, Jamie Iaciofano, Jianna Iaciofano and Jenna Iaciofano. She was the dear sister of Mary Grimaldi, of East Providence, Elaine Ruggieri of Narragansett, Edward Maggiacomo of Cranston and the late Biagio Maggiacomo, Gloria Zito and Joseph Maggiacomo Jr.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday August 22, 2023 at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
Visiting hours are Monday August 21, 2023 from 4:30 pm to 7 pm.
