a loving and caring wife, mother, Nona, sister, and friend, left this world peacefully on December 17, 2022 at the age of 83.
Born in Prata Sannita, Caserta, Italy on August 16, 1939, Assunta was the beloved daughter of Pasquale and Vincenza (Cardillo) Girardi. She immigrated to the United States at the age of 13, where she met her husband, Attileo Feole. They were married for 63 years and raised 6 children.
Assunta dedicated her life to God and her faith as a dedicated member of Saint Rocco's Church in Johnston. She was also a founding member of The Santa Maria Di Prata Society. There she enjoyed many activities, especially playing bocce, which she excelled at and won many championships. She was also an amazing cook, always making homemade dishes for her family, friends, and society.
Besides her husband Leo, Assunta is survived by her 6 children: Anthony (Linda) Feole, Leo (Linda) Feole, Lisa (Todd) Palmer, Joseph (Donna) Feole, David (Ellen) Feole, and Susan (Peter) Levesque, 13 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and her sister Dolores Lisi. She was the dear sister of the late Elizabeth Testa and her husband Americo, Angelina DeFillippo and her husband Vincent, and brother in law Frank Lisi.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday, December 20th at 10:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Monday, December 19th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011 OR St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
