Arthur A. Zompa, Sr.

81, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Sandra (Cardi) Zompa. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Igliozzi) Zompa.

Arthur was an instructor and medic at the Rhode Island Military Academy, he also served in 101st Air Squadron in the Finance Dept at the Massachusetts Air Guard for a total of 30 years. He worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island in the Finance Department as well as for the City of Providence and then the Providence Water Supply Board.

Arthur was the loving father of Lisa L. Zompa and her husband Denis P. Dupuis, and the late Arthur A. Zompa, Jr.; cherished grandfather of Garrett L. Dupuis; son-in-law of the late Nicholas Cardi, Sr. and Marion (Ronzio) Cardi; brother-in-law of Ronald Cardi, Peter Cardi, and the late Nicholas Cardi Jr.

VISITING HOURS will be held on Friday, September 6th from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
