ARTHUR MORETTI, SR

75 of Douglas Ave North Providence, formerly of Johnston passed away on Sunday October 11, 2009 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Fuoco) Moretti. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Assunta Moretti. Arthur worked as a foreman at Calibri Mfg. Company for 20 years before retiring. He was an avid sports fan and one of the first volunteers for Johnston Youth Basketball. He was the father of Arthur Moretti, Jr., Kevin Moretti both of Johnston and Susan Guglielmetti of Cranston, grandfather of five and great-grandfather of one, and companion of Kathyrn Marchesi of North Providence. His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church 927 Atwood Ave. Johnston at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
