83, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at RI Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Anne (Baldino) Manni for fifty-three years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Dario and Mary (Santurri) Manni. Arthur was a self-employed carpenter and former vice president of Garden Park Builders in which he and his two brothers Edward and Angelo built numerous homes until his retirement. He was a US army national guard veteran serving during the Korean war. Arthur was an adult leader for the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 22, Cranston; he was also an avid hunter and gardener. Arthur loved supporting his son Robert with his career as a firefighter and private business owner. He also enjoyed vacationing at the family home in New Hampshire.
Arthur is survived by his loving son Robert A.J. Manni of Jamestown. He was the brother of Gladys Costello of Cranston, Angelo Manni of Cranston, the late Thomas, Anthony, George, Charles, and Edward Manni.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 16th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday from 5:00-9:00 p.m.
