ARTHUR DIPRETE

90, of Providence, passed away on Wednesday February 29, 2012 at the home of his daughter. He was the beloved husband of the late Yolanda (Fucci) DiPrete

Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Domenic A. and Maria G. (Malone) DiPrete. He was a WW-II Army veteran. Arthur was a Aircraft Mechanic & Inspector for the former Quonset Air Force Base for many years, before his retirement. He was a communicant of St. Anthony Church, Plainfield St. Providence, where he served as an usher and various other church activities.

He was the beloved father of Donna McKenna and her husband Tom of Providence; dear brother of Eleanor Aschettino of Johnston and the late Ida Moretti, Alberic DiPrete, Nunzio DiPrete and Albert DiPrete.

Arthur will be sadly missed by family and friends.

His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, Plainfield St. Providence at 11 a.m.

Interment with military honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday 4p.m. to 8 p.m.
