87, of Hope passed away Sunday January 23, 2022 with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Mildred (Kurowski) Delfino for 59 years.
Born in Johnston he was the son of the late Sandino and Clara (Cerrito) Delfino, Sr.
Arthur is survived by his devoted children, Cheryl Delfino, Arthur Delfino and his wife Beth, Debbie Grimaldi and her husband Keith, Melissa Delfino and the late Brenda Lamb.
He was the dear brother of Gloria Castelli, Edward Delfino and the late Sandy Delfino, Jr. and Ronald Delfino. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren and his dear nieces and nephews.
Arthur was a US Army veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict.
Arthur along with his brother Sandy, co-founded The Delfino Corporation and had a very successful business. He was all about taking care of details and took pride in teaching his son Arthur was what he loved.. He was a perfectionist and every job had to be perfect. Arthur was a hard worker and he would not say no to anyone who needed help.
Arthur and Sandy completed many projects and received accolades for many of their accomplishments, including construction of golf courses and shopping centers throughout New England.
Arthur was kind, loving, and dedicated to helping anyone in need. He took pride in the things he loved. his family being most important. Arthur was an amazing father, and friend, and words cannot describe the man Arthur was and he will be truly missed.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday February 1, 2022 from 4 pm to 6 pm at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Funeral Service at 6 pm. Burial will be private. (MASK REQUIRED)
