ARTHEMIOS "HARRY" MICHAILIDES

101, of Ayrault Street, Providence, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Elmhurst Extended Care in Providence. Harry was the husband of the late Mary (Altieri) Michailides. Born in Smyrna, Turkey, he was the son of the late George and Orthodoxia (Apostolou) Michailides. Harry was the owner and operator of the former Bordeux Barber Shop on Broad Street, Providence for 30 years and later was employed for the State of RI at the Medical Center as an attendant until his retirement in 1975. He was the loving father of George Michailides of North Kingstown. Harry was the grandfather of Karla McGovern, Christopher Michailides and his wife Pamela, Stephen Michailides and his wife Jennifer, James Michailides and his wife Lori and Jonathan Michailides. Harry was also the cherished great grandfather of 10 His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a funeral servce in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston at 11:00 a.m. VISITING HOURS: FRIDAY 4:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
