Armand "Bud" D'Orsi, Jr.

ARMAND “BUD”  D’ORSI, JR., 82, of Cranston, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband for 55 years of the late Marie A. (Murphy) D’Orsi.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Armand and Margaret (Sahagian) D’Orsi.

Bud worked for the Providence Gas Company for 30 years before retiring and had also served in the RI Army National Guard. His dedication to his family was his life.  He enjoyed cooking for them on Sundays and being there for anyone who needed something fixed.

Bud was the devoted father of Jennifer A. Johnson and her husband Brian of Richmond, Melissa M. Cicchitelli and her husband Joseph of Smithfield, Susan J. Dowling and her husband Christopher of Cranston and the late Richard A. D’Orsi and his wife Laurie of Cranston; loving grandfather of Elizabeth, Sara, Skyla and Ethan; and brother of Stanley D’Orsi of Greenville and the late Robert D’Orsi.

His funeral and burial will be private.
