ARLINE M. (CONROY) LEPORE
90, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday June 24, 2010 at Hospice Care of RI Philip Hulitar In-Patient Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Victor K. Lepore.
Born in Peabody, MA she was the daughter of the late Charles and Jennie Conroy.
Arline was a purchaser for the former Tesoro Mfg. Company for 13 years, before retiring in 1982. Mrs. Lepore was an avid volunteer and was named person of the year by the Providence Journal. She was a volunteer at the Cranston Senior Center; Meals on Wheels in Cranston; a member of the YMCA; and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Ann's Church in Cranston.
She was the beloved mother of Diane M. DiMillio and her husband Albert of Leesburg, VA, Barbara Lepore - Sion of East Greenwich, Darlene M. Lepore of South Kingstown and the late Janice Scoliard; loving grandmother of 5;loving great-grandmother of 8; and sister of the late Helen Adams, Gloria Conroy and Charles Conroy.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann's Church Cranston at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of RI Philip Hulitar In-Patient Center 1085 North Main St. Providence, RI 02904.
