ARLENE M. (DEADY) DI MUCCIO

77, of Johnston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Anthony J. DiMuccio, Sr. They were married for fifty-five years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Alice (Padien) Deady. Arlene enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She especially enjoyed shopping for her grandchildren.

Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children, Robert A. DiMuccio and his wife Rena of Cumberland, John T. DiMuccio of Greenville, Stephen A. DiMuccio and his wife Amy of Coventry, Lisa A. Cardarelli and her husband Christopher of Greenville, Michael J. DiMuccio and his wife Mary of North Providence, and Maria Lanni and her husband Robert of Johnston. Arlene was the mother of the late Anthony DiMuccio, Jr. and the mother-in-law of the late Noreen DiMuccio. Arlene was the cherished grandmother of Carissa, John, Robert, Joseph, Christopher, Nicholas, Michael, Robert, Jacquelynn, Anthony, Stephen, and Sophia. She was the sister of Dorothy Richard of Providence, Jean Croce of Johnston, Carol Tedeschi of West Warwick and the late Thomas, Robert, John, and Joseph Deady.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
