ANTONIO L. TIROCCHI
Antonio L. "Tony" Tirocchi, 84, of Heather Street, Cranston, died Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. He was the beloved husband for 59 years of Marie E. (Clemente) Tirocchi.
Born in Cranston, a son of the late Antonio B. and Angelina G. (Toti) Tirocchi, he was a lifelong resident of Cranston.
Mr. Tirocchi was a master mechanic for the former Bird & Son Company in East Providence for many years, retiring in 1964.
He attended RI School of Design and was a WW-II Navy veteran.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Angela M. Tirocchi of Providence and Barbara A. Porrazzo and her husband Paul of Cranston; loving grandfather of Linda Lonczak and her husband Anthony of Warwick; loving great-grandfather of Anthony Jr. and Andrea; and dear brother of Vincenza M. "Vinnie" Tirocchi and the late Bennie Tirocchi.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church, Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
VISITING HOURS TUESDAY 4-7 p.m.
