Antonio Romano

88, of Cranston passed away peacefully on July 17, 2021.  He was the husband of the late Filomena (Creta) Romano.

Born in Pietravairano, Italy, he was a son of the late Libero and Angelarosa (Littera) Romano.

Mr. Romano was a machine operator at Pilgrim Screw Corporation for many years before retiring.  He was an avid gardener and enjoyed family gatherings.

He was a loving husband, father and friend.

He leaves his son, Franco Romano of Grafton, MA; two granddaughters, Nicole James and husband Ethan and Lauren Romano; his longtime companion, Anna Carnevale of Cranston; a brother Vincenzo Roman of Italy; and a sister-in-law, Letizia Robbio of Cranston.

His funeral will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston.  Entombment will follow in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum, St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS Wednesday 5-7pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
