89, of North Kingstown passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday June 17, 2013. The beloved husband of his sweetheart Eileen (Medeiros) Pedroso for 67 years. Born in New Bedford, MA and was raised in Alvados, Portugal. He was the son of the late Antonio Pedroso and Maria Constancia Pedroso. At 18, he returned to the United States and became a successful businessman, where he owned and operated Tony's Trucking for over 50 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Antonio Pedroso III and his wife Carol and his daughter Deborah DelGreco and her husband John all of North Kingstown. Antonio was the grandfather of Tony IV, Michael, Carol, David, Giana and Carissa and great grandfather of 7. He was the brother of Manuel Pedroso and his wife Maria of Providence, Olivia Pedroso Pinto Calado and her late husband Joaquim of Providence and Elias Pedroso and his wife Emilia of Warwick. Tony enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, gardening and traveling to his Florida home. He was a member of the Cranston Portuguese Rod and Gun Club. He will be missed by family and friends to whom he always brought a kind word and a smile. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 8 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in Our Lady of the Rosary Traverse Street, Providence. Interment will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-8 pm.
