Antonio Negovetti

72, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, February 18, 2021.  He was the beloved husband of Maria (Gesualdi) Negovetti. They were married for 34 years. Born in Cherso, Yugoslavia, he was the son of the late Antonio and Anna (Marchian) Negovetti.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving son, Antonio V. Negovetti of Providence.  He was predeceased by his son, Piero Negovetti of Cranston. He is also survived by his siblings Mario Negovetti and Maria Negovetti, both of Genoa, Italy.  He was also the brother of the late Luigi, Gianni, and Piero Negovetti.

Prior to coming to the United States, he was an employee of the cruise line, Home Lines, Inc., where he and his wife met.  He settled in Rhode Island in 1986 and worked in various restaurants in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He worked at Ristorante Limoncello for many years prior to his death.

In his limited spare time, he enjoyed playing with his dog, Smokey, searching out antiques, and singing to his wife.  Everyone loved his deep, baritone voice.
He will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours to be held on Tuesday from 6-8 pm under strict COVID safety protocols in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.  His funeral and burial will be private, but his Mass of Christian Burial will be livestreamed on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. through Nardolillo Funeral Home Facebook page ( http://www.Facebook.com/nardolillofh ).  Please kindly omit flowers.
