ANTONIO CALIRI

90, of Bristol, passed away on Saturday November 17, 2012 at West Bay Manor in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of the late Rose (Pagano) Caliri. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Antonetta ( Asprinio) Caliri.

He was the founder and co-owner of Pocassett Monumental Works of Providence for many years retiring in 1990. He was a WW-II U.S. Army veteran and Past President of St. Bartholomew's Holy Name Society.

He was the devoted father of Anthony J. Caliri and his wife Nancy Mancini Caliri of Exeter and Antonette Hollands and her husband Robert of Bristol; loving grandfather of Douglas Caliri and Cara Caliri; dear brother of Adolph Caliri, Dorothy Golderese, Gloria Pagano and the late Orlando, John and Mary Caliri.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, on Wednesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St, Cranston at 10 a.m. Interment with military honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
