89 of Cranston, passed away on April 16 at the VA Hospital. He was the husband of Dorothy A (Vendettoli) Bianco. A lifelong resident of RI, he was the son of the late Antonio and Carmela (Fossa) Bianco. Mr. Bianco was the founder and former President of Bianco Mold Company which was located in Providence, RI for 30 years. Tony's love and devotion to his wife and family is legendary. He loved to cook for anyone who visited and his specialty was pizza. He was a veteran of WWII; a Sergeant in the US Army Infantry (Company G 172 Infantry) serving in New Guinea and Luzon and received the Pacific Theater medal with two campaign stars , a Purple Heart, a Good Conduct Medal and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon. In the course of his service he lost his leg for his country.He is survived by one brother, Albert Bianco and one sister, Angelina Vendettoli; one daughter, Judith Manocchia, two sons, James and Joseph Bianco, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 3 brothers Ralph, Frank and Guido Bianco. His funeral will be held on Friday at 8 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in St Paul's Church, 1 St. Paul Place, Cranston. Interment with military honors will take place in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 6-8 pm.
