89, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Ivo W. Fedeli. Born in Fontana Liri, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Loreta (Patriarca) Liberatore and immigrated to Rhode Island in 1958.
Antonietta was an accomplished seamstress at Ida Leach Boutique in Garden City for many years and later was employed by William H. Harris Furs as a sales consultant. She loved fashion and was always impeccably “put together”.
She enjoyed traveling, in particular to Italy to visit family and friends and did so in the summertime. She was an excellent cook, had a flair for entertaining, and loved gardening.
Very active in her church, Antonietta served as a Eucharistic Minister and was also part of the choir. She so loved music and singing. She was a volunteer at McAuley House in Providence for many years and also volunteered at the Hope Alzheimer’s Center in Cranston. A devout woman of strong faith, she believed in “giving rather than receiving”.
She is survived by her daughter Patricia Fedeli and her husband Gino Rebussini of Cranston, her brother Marcello Liberatore and wife Bruna of Smithfield, RI, her sister Maria Lucchetti of Italy, and nieces and nephews. She was the devoted mother of the late Sandra Fedeli, sister of the late Gina Pantanella, and Sr. Ida Liberatore. She was the cherished grandmother of Luca Antonio Fedeli Rebussini, whom she adored.
Our memories will always be that of an amazing woman who treasured her family and friends and who will be genuinely missed by all.
Due to COVID-19, her funeral services are respectfully private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Hope Alzheimer’s Center, 25 Brayton Ave., Cranston, RI 02920. A livestream of her Mass will be shown via St. Mark Church website page: stmarkri.org.
