Antonia Della (Landi ) Golini, 92, of Plainfield Pike, Cranston passed away on Monday June 9, 2008 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the beloved wife of Joseph E. Golini. She was born in Johnston a daughter of the late Agostino and Rosina ( Ricci ) Landi. Before marrying, Mrs. Golini was employed at General Electric Providence Base Works, after which she was the owner & operator of Del's Jewelry Co. After raising her family, she was a clerk employed at the family pharmacy, Golini Drug Store, Cranston. She served as a member and past president of the R.I. Council of Italian Women. She was also a member of the United Commercial Travelers. Mrs. Golini enjoyed cooking, baking and her favorite pastime was raising blueberries and a wide variety of flowers and vegetables. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Rocco's Church, Johnston where her father, grandfather and grandmother were founding members. Beside her husband she is survived by her beloved children, William J. Golini, MD of Jamestown and Rosemary J. Golini of Cranston. She was the grandmother of Lee Golini and the late Christopher A. Golini and sister of Mary Ann Landi of Johnston, Anthony Landi of Cranston and the late Theresa Franco, Jennie Faraone, Alphonse, Sadie and Angelina " Julie " Landi. She was the granddaughter of the late Alphonse and Teresa ( Mallane ) Ricci. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 8am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church at 9am. VISITING HOURS Thursday morning 7:30-8:30am. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
