Born in Roccamonfina, Italy to parents Claudio and Regina (Gallo) Sciacca, and educated as a school teacher, she came to this country upon marrying the love of her life, Mr. Guido Cianci, with whom she made her home for 55 years in North Andover, MA.
Upon the passing of her husband in 2003, she moved to Cranston, RI and lived with her loving cousins, Mr. & Mrs. Carmine Sciacca. She is survived by a loving family; including Mr. & Mrs. Elvio Sciacca and godchildren, Mr. Frank Sciacca and Mr. Joseph Mazza, as well as many cousins such as Mr. & Mrs. Anthony Sciacca, Mr. & Mrs. Luigi Sciacca, Mr. Amelio Sciacca and Mr. Angelo Gallo and their families.
Antoinette, as she was called, loved gardening, cooking, reading and spending time teaching Italian and various other lessons to the children in her family, Monica, Jessica, Angelica and Michael.
All that knew and loved her will miss her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, January 10th at 9 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Sunday 4-6 p.m.
Interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA will be private.
