Antonetta ‘Toni’ (Bruscato) Loberti, 94, of Anchor Bay, Main St., East Greenwich, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022. She was born in Brooklyn, NY; raised in Barrington, RI; and was a longtime resident of Providence and North Providence, RI. She was the beloved wife to the late Paul G. Loberti: was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (DiOrio) Bruscato; and was the devoted mother of Paul G. Loberti, Jr., and his wife, Audrey, of Johnston and Joseph J. Loberti and his wife, Leah, of Saunderstown. Antonetta was the loving Nonna of Aria Mia, Jake, and Katie. She leaves her sister Eleanor Thomson and her husband, Curt, of Pawtucket. She was sibling to the late Rose Carbone, John Bruscato, Anna Lou Ballirano, and Frank Bruscato. Antonetta was a lovely human being, consummate baker, and gourmet chef. Her friends and family will miss her vivacious laugh and legendary Sicilian cookies.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, September 8th at 10 a.m. from NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum at St. Ann Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
