ANTONETTA “ANNE” (LOFFREDO) LAURO, 94, of Eagle Rd., Cranston, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at RI Hospital.
Born in Providence, Anne was a daughter of the late Francesco and Petrina (Stavolone) Loffredo. She was the youngest of her predeceased siblings: the late Amato “Marco”, Joseph, Pasquale “Pat” and Albert “Curly” Loffredo, Mary Luisi, Giovannina “Jennie” Gemma and Filomena “Filly” Marcello.
Anne was the wife of the late Ralph Lauro.
She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and a faithful communicant of St. Bartholomew Parish. Anne worked at the former Davol, Inc., then later on enjoyed part-time cashiering at the former Shepard Co, Criscione’s Market and Amoriggi Seafood until her retirement.
Known as “Little Mommy” to her beloved nieces and nephews, Anne will be mostly remembered for her optimism and her ability to find good in everyone. She was truly an inspiration to many.
Anne leaves her devoted children Ralph Lauro, Jr. and Petrina T. Lauro both of Cranston.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday, April 8th at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew’s Church, 305 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS (with masks suggested by family) are Friday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
