ANTONETTA "ETTA" (CARUSO) SILVIA, 82, of Warren Ave., Cranston, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2008 at RI Hospital-Jane Brown Unit in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis "Joe" Silvia.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Renzulli) Caruso, she lived in Cranston for the past 40 years.
Etta worked in the jewelry industry for many years before retiring.
She was the devoted mother of Deborah A. Cardillo and her husband Raymond of East Providence, David L. Silvia and his wife Denise of Warwick, and Kevin Silvia of Cranston; loving grandmother of Melissa Cardillo-Pitocco and her husband Albert of East Providence; and dear sister of the late John, Albert and Richard Caruso.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Ave., Cranston at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
