ANTONETTA (ANETTE) DePONTE RICCITELLI

Antonetta (Anette) DePonte Riccitelli, 86, of Crest Avenue, died peacefully on Monday , May 12, 2008 at South County Hospital, Wakefield, surrounded by her loving husband, all her children and grandchildren. She was the wife of Angelo Riccitelli. They would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary this year. Born in New Haven, CT, she was a daughter of the late Raffaele and Carmelina (Mele) DePonte. Mrs. Riccitelli volunteered at many nursing homes and was the recipient of The State of Connecticut Volunteer of the Year Award by the Connecticut Association of Health Care Facilities for "Service Above Self". Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters: Anita J. Langer of Narragansett, Maryann and her husband, John Killoy, of Narragansett; one son; James and his wife, Nancy Riccitelli, of Cheshire, CT; eight grandchildren: Michael and his wife Martha Langer and Derek J. Langer; John III, Brian, Kristin and Michael Killoy; James and Kellyn Riccitelli. She was the sister of Theresa Sartini of Branford, CT, Frank DePonte of East Haven , CT, Ralph DePonte of New Haven, CT and the late Trofomina Santino, Rose Coppola and Dominick DePonte. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Her funeral and burial will be private.
