Antonetta (Ricciardi) Lancia

95, of West Warwick, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at West View Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late John N. Lancia, Sr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Vastano) Ricciardi. Antonetta worked at Joel Cleaners for nearly 50 years before retiring. Her passion in life included lovingly supporting her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved to spend her time in the kitchen cooking Sunday dinners for the family and passing along her family recipes to her grandchildren. She was a true matriarch and loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving children, John N. Lancia, Jr. and his wife Deborah of West Warwick, David Lancia and his late wife Debra of Cranston, and the late Maryann Lancia; cherished grandchildren, Amy Yazbek, David Lancia, Jr., Julie Fogel, Tara DeCataldo and Marc Lancia; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Stella, Hailey, Emma, Gabriela, Nico and Oliver. She was the dear sister of the late Emma Ricciardi, Anna Finlay and Mary Gelsomino.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will follow in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS will be held on TUESDAY MORNING from 8:30 – 10:00 am.
