ANTONETTA (TRIDENTI) D'AMBRA

85, of North Providence, formerly of Cranston, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicola D'Ambra. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Donatina (DeRobbio) Tridenti. Antonetta was employed by various jewelry companies in the Providence area for many years before her retirement. She was a communicant of Holy Cross Church. Antonetta enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, dancing, and crossword puzzles. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Donna M. Gemma of Smithfield, and Frank A. D'Ambra of Greenville. Antonetta was the mother of the late Simone D'Ambra and Anna Marie Furtado. She was a cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Antonetta was the grandmother of the late Joaquim "Jack" Furtado, III. She was the sister of Rose Golato of Smithfield, Ida Santilli of Warwick, and the late Anthony, Angelo, Andrew, Ernest, Albert, Yolanda Tridenti, and Mary Scarduzio.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Monday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
