Antonetta "Etta" (Leporacci) Barbieri

Antonetta “Etta” (Leporacci) Barbieri 89, of Cranston passed away Monday November 4, 2024 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home in Cranston. She was the wife of the late Xavier Barbieri. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Carmella (Esposito) Leporacci. Etta worked in the business office at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital for many years, prior she worked for Trifari Mfg. Co.

She was the dear sister of Adeline R. Bossone of Johnston and sister-in-law of the late John Bossone, Jr. She was also sister-in-law of Frank and Tillie Barbieri of North Providence.. Etta is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Etta was affectionally called by her cousins as “Etta-MaMa” because she was the oldest. To family and friends she was known as the “Eggplant” lady for her delicious Eggplant.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday November 9, 2024 at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 10 am. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
