ANTOINE "Tony" J. ZIFCAK

Antoine J. "Tony" Zifcak 87, formerly of Cranston passed away on Wednesday January 28, 2009. He was the husband of the late Virginia (Simonelli) Zifcak. Born in Pascoag, he was the son of the late Phillip and Frances (Dlugos) Zifcak. Mr. Zifcak was a WW-II U.S. Navy Veteran and worked as a toolmaker for Imperial Knife. He is survived by his children; George Zifcak and his wife Isabelle, Wayne Zifcak and his wife Marita and Beverly A. Altieri and her husband John. He leaves four brothers, John, Paul, Edward and Raymond Zifcak and three sisters Margaret Gerlach, Madeline Hopkins and Eleanor Choiniere. He was the brother of the late Edna Begin,and Phillip, Sofie, Mary and Anna Zifcak. He also leaves six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. His funeral will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will be in R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting Hours Sunday 3-6 p.m.
