Antigone "Ann" (Tsikouras) Tsimikas

Daughter of the late Georgios Tsikouras and Vasiliki Karanassiou of Megaro, Grevena, Greece, passed away on Sunday (8/22/21) at 66 years of age. She leaves behind her husband, Soterios Tsimikas, sister Dorothea Liakos of Norwood, MA, her brother Evangelos Tsikouras of Thessaloniki, Greece, and her three children Evdoxia Tsimika- Chronis, Dimitri Tsimikas, Basili Tsimikas and their respective spouses Themistoklis Chronis, Rebecca deBarros, and Elizabeth (Sullivan) Tsimikas. She was blessed with six beautiful grand children: Elia, Simon, Angeliki, Evangelos, Soterios, and Nicholas.

Antigone was well known in the Cranston community both due to her role as the heart and soul of Basil’s Pizza and her devout involvement in the Annunciation Greek Church. Throughout her life, she cared for thousands of people and kept them well fed. She will always be remembered for her selflessness and huge capacity for love. She worked endlessly to better the lives of the people around her. May her example live on in all of us and may she rest in peace.

Her visiting hours will be held on Monday, Aug 30th, from 9:30-11:00 a.m. in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 175 Oaklawn Ave, Cranston, followed by her Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
