Anthony "Tony" P. Carnevale

74, of Johnston and Dunedin Fl, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019.  He was the beloved husband of Cheryl A. (Macera) Carnevale.  Born in Providence, Anthony was a son of the late Frank and Albertina (Niquette) Carnevale.  He was a service technician for Petro Oil for many years, before retiring.

Besides his wife, Anthony is survived by his stepchildren Ernie Martinelli and Melissa Melvin, both of Johnston.  He was the cherished grandfather of Edward, Milana and Evan Melvin.  Anthony was the dear brother of the late Frank, Marie, Irene, Doris, Pauline and Diane.

Tony belonged to many groups and organizations, he was most proud of being a lifetime member of The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge # 24 and the Johnston Fire Dept Hose # 3. Tony was also a Special Police Officer of the Johnston Police Dept.  Tony's favorite pastimes were boating, fishing, and sitting by the ocean both in RI and Florida.  His greatest joy was spending time with his cherished wife, children, and grandchildren. Tony also had many lifelong friendships he held dear to him.  He loved to socialize and always had a story to tell that was sure to put a smile on someone's face.

His funeral services will be private.
