ANTHONY ZELANO

84, of Hope, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2011. Anthony was the husband of the late Anne Zelano. Born in Providence, he was son of the late Angelo and Josephine Zelano. Mr. Zelano was a US Navy Veteran who served during WWII. Anthony was an avid hobby enthusiast, who most enjoyed wine making.

Anthony is survived by his three children Richard Zelano, Barbara Calabro and Diane Hattoy, all of Johnston. He was the grandfather of Amanda Veitch, Anthony Zelano, Natalie Lepore and Christopher Hattoy and was also the great grandfather of two. Mr. Zelano was the brother of Ella Cotoia of Florida and Esther Cambio of North Providence.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Food Bank, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston RI 02919.
