ANTHONY VINACCO

75, of Independence Way Cranston, passed away Wednesday September 15, 2010 at home. He was the devoted husband of Viola(Valante) Vinacco.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Louis and Lucrezia (DiMauro) Vinacco. Anthony was a US Army veteran.

He worked for the former Providence Gas Company for twenty seven years, before his retirement. He was a member of the Bouffard Council K of C North Providence No. 2965.

Besides his wife he was the beloved father of Anthony Vinacco of Warwick, Joseph Vinacco of Millville, MA. and Matthew Vinacco of Cranston; loving grandfather of Nicholas, Julia, Amanda, Samantha and Lucas; dear brother of Lucy Almagno of Providence, Evelyn Voccio of Cranston, Anne Vinacco of Cranston, Lucrezia Bailey of Cranston, John Vinacco of Scituate, Richard Vinacco of Providence, and the late Hope Parillo and Joseph Vinacco.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, on Monday 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church 927 Atwood Ave. Johnston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
