95, of Cranston, passed away in his home with his loving niece Charlotte by his side on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. He was the beloved husband of the late June C. (DeCesare) Vieira. Born in East Providence, he was a son of the late Manuel and Maria (Rebello) Vieira. Mr. Vieira was a tool maker for Rau Fastner Company for many years until retiring. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and billiards.
Anthony was predeceased by his six sisters, Angelina Mello, Beatrice Santos, Anna Marshall, Rose Pimental, Mary Vieira, and Laura Perry, and predeceased by his four brothers, John Vieira, Manuel Vieira, Joseph Vieira and Frank Vieira. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Matthew’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to the Continuum Hospice, 1350 Division St., Suite 205, West Warwick, RI 02893.
