ANTHONY F. VELLECO

95 of Cranston, died Thursday July 10, 2008 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the loving husband of Angelina (Vallone) Velleco, his devoted wife of 72 years. Born in Providence on February 12, 1913. He was the son of Giacomo and Antonetta (Montefusco) Velleco. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of Saint Mary's Church, the owner of the Rhode Island Fuel Company and an avid Red Sox Fan. He is survived by his daughter Theresa J. Tenerella and her husband Michael of Woonsocket and son James A. Velleco and wife Linda of Marblehead, MA.; Five Grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Domenic, Ralph, Gus, Joseph, Carlo, Theresa, Jenny, Anna and Louis . Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue Cranston, on Saturday at 10 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary's Church Cranston Street Cranston . Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Saturday morning 9-10 am. Kindly Omit Flowers.
