ANTHONY F. "BUSTER" TARTAGLIA, 66, of Simmonsville Ave., Johnston, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Joyce E. (Halliday) Tartaglia and they were married for 44 years on May 2nd.
Born in Johnston, a son of the late Antonio S. and Concetta (Gallucci) Tartaglia, he was a lifelong resident of Johnston.
Mr. Tartaglia was a licensed electrician and worked 23 years for Ajootian Electric and later for the State of RI Department of Transportation for 17 years before retiring.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Paula M. Hardman and her husband Carl, and Anthony T. Tartaglia and his wife Rebecca, all of Johnston; dear brother of Lucille A. Barone of Johnston, and the late Angela M. Meloni and Jesse B.L. Tartaglia; and loving grandfather of Katie, Christina, Ondrea, Samantha, Alex, Santana and Alishia, and the late Paige E. Hardman.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston Wednesday at 8 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
