ANTHONY STEPHEN MARZELLA

47, of Angela Court Johnston, passed away on Monday April 9, 2012 at home. He was the husband of Eleonora (Vacca) Marzella. Born in Providence he was a son of the late Anthony P. and Arlene (Tritendi) Marzella. Anthony was a sheriff employed by the State of RI in Superior Court for 10 years. He was a very avid Red Sox fan, collector of sport's memorabilia and was a baseball coach for the Johnston Little League. Anthony befriended thousands of facebook friends many of whom he connected with daily and will be sadly missed. Besides his wife he is survived by one sister: Stephanie Susi of Johnston and one brother David Marzella of Coventry. His funeral will be held on Friday at 8:00am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Ghost Church, Atwells Avenue, Providence at 9:00am. Visiting hours: Thursday 4-8pm. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Kindly omit flowers.
