Anthony N. Santoro, Sr.
65, of Pine Grove Ave., Lincoln passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Hallas) Santoro. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Liberato and Concettina (Piangenti) Santoro. Mr. Santoro was the owner and operator of A & A. Machinery Co. He was an Army National Guard veteran, and was a Past President of SME Society. Anthony was also a past Chairman of the Arthritis Golf Tournament and was the Co-Chairman of The Project Learn Golf Tournament. He was a past coach for Little League and Lincoln High School Swim Team; and was a member of the Kirkbrae Country Club. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Alexis Sinnott and her husband Raymond P. Sinnott II of NY, Anthony N. Santoro , Jr. of CA and Damian Santoro of Lincoln. Tony was also the cherished grandfather of Autumn Santoro, and was the brother of Catherine Paquette of Warwick, Thomas Santoro, Sr. of FL, Linda Miele of CT, and Donald Santoro, Sr. of Johnston and also leaves several treasured nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 11 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Funeral Service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Oaklawn Ave. Cranston at 12 noon. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-8 pm.
