ANTHONY MORRA

91, formerly of Simmonsville Ave., Johnston passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at home. He was the husband of Petrina (Ucifero) Morra. He was born in Providence a son of the late Michael and Antonetta (Russo) Morra. Mr. Morra was employed as an inspector at the former Narragansett Brewery Co. Prior to his retirement he was a bus driver employed by the Johnston School Department. He was a WWII Army Veteran. Beside his wife he is survived by his sons, Michael Morra and his wife Cynthia of Warwick and Anthony Morra and his wife Pamela of Norway, Maine. He was the father of the late Beverly Rathier. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was the brother of Adeline Lonardo of Warwick, Florindo Morra of Johnston, Salvatore Morra of MA, Anna Ploude of Cranston and the late Antonetta Vanner, Pasco and Louis Morra. Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral procession on Saturday, which will begin at 10:30 am at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a funeral service at 11am in St. Ann's Cemetery Chapel, Cranston .
