Anthony Pasco Mallane III, devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend passed away on Sunday March 30th surrounded by his loving family in his home at the age of 83. Born on October 16, 1941, in Providence RI, he was the son of the late Anthony and Margaret (Falco) Mallane.
Anthony spent his working years at Metalized Ceramics in Providence RI, working for the Town of Johnston, and a huge part in the Jewelry Industry.
Among his many passions, Anthony was a loyal member of the Kelley Gazzaro Post on Plainfield Pike and loved horse racing at the track, cooking, card playing, the casino, baseball games, but above all, he took immense pride in his family and friends.
He was the loving father of Cherie Paliotti, the pride and joy of his grandchildren Shayna Graziano and John Abatiello Jr., adored great-grandfather of Christopher, Mariah, Abriella, and Hudson, and cherished father-in-law of John Abatiello Sr.
Anthony was the dedicated brother to Juliette Russo and her husband Henry, Stephen “Sheik” Mallane and his wife Dorothy, and Gregory Mallane and his late husband James.
He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who thought the world of him.
His Funeral will be held on Friday, April 4th at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
VISITING HOURS will be Thursday, April 3rd from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
