Anthony ("Jiggs") J. Ruggieri

92, of Cranston, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022. He was the loving husband of Leona L. (Palombo) Ruggieri for 66 years. He was the son of the late Joseph and Lena (Farina) Ruggieri.

Anthony was the beloved and devoted father of Linda Ruggieri Carbone, Thomas Ruggieri, Susan Marandola and her husband Stephen, Brad Ruggieri and his wife Jessica, and the late William (Billy) Ruggieri. He also leaves behind his three cherished grandchildren, Jaclyn Augustine, Anthony Carbone and Stephen Marandola Jr.

He was the brother of the late Marie Renzi and Pauline DiBiase. In addition to his wife, children, and grandchildren, he leaves behind many nieces, nephews, brothers & sisters in-law, and other dear family & friends.

Mr. Ruggieri was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean war. He was a master plumber who owned and operated Auburn Plumbing & Heating for many years. He also served as a plumbing inspector for the City of Cranston, as well as an officer of the RI Master Plumbers Association.

Jiggy was well loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, Jan. 3rd, at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston. Visiting hours and burial are respectfully private.
