Anthony J. Marzilli

68, of Warwick, passed away due to a brief illness, on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at home.  Born on October 5, 1953 in Providence, he was a son of the late John L. and Frances (Turchetta) Marzilli.  Anthony was a very passionate hairdresser for 45 years.  Over the years he owned two salons: Cowesett Hair Studios and co-owner of Che’ Marz Salon, both in Warwick.  Besides hairdressing, he loved the Beatles, Celine Dion, The 3 Stooges, and singing karaoke.  Anthony was an avid sports fan, especially the Red Sox and New England Patriots.

He was predeceased by his son, Michael J Marzilli.  Anthony is survived by his son Anthony R Marzilli of FL.  He was the cherished grandfather of Gianna and Giovanni.  Anthony was the dear brother of Raymond Marzilli, wife Nancy of GA.  Their daughter Tracy, her husband Brad Liembach, son Ray Marzilli Jr his wife Jennifer their; grandchildren Rocco, and Luca.  John D. Marzilli and his wife Elizabeth of NY, their daughters Erin E O’Shea and Leah F Hunt; grandchildren Cole, Lana, Aidan and Colin. He was the loving companion of Cheryl A. Laucks of Coventry and leaves behind her children, Carrie, Megan, David, and granddaughter Summer.

His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston at 10 a.m.  VISITING HOURS are on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
