89, of Narragansett, RI and Boynton Beach, FL formerly of Cranston, died Monday, January 4, 2010 at West View Health Care Center, West Warwick. He was the husband of Latterina "Lolly" (Iacampo) Grello; they were married for sixty-eight years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Angelina (Martino) Grello. Mr. Grello was employed at the former Narragansett Brewery in Cranston for forty-one years before retiring in 1981. He was also employed by the University of Rhode Island before retiring in 1984. Anthony was also a barber and along with his father operated the former Frank's Barber Shop in Providence for many years. Anthony was a member of the BPOE #2196, Warwick. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Frances M. Girardi and her husband Anthony of Narragansett, Patricia A. Cerbo and her husband Vincent of Wakefield and Anthony P. Grello and his wife Nancy of Narragansett. Anthony was the grandfather of seven and the great-grandfather of eleven. He was the brother of the late Lucia and Frank Grello and Josephine Plynkofsky. Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, South Kingstown. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
