ANTHONY J. MC GRATH

Anthony J. McGrath 59, of Steere Farm Rd. Harrisville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday September 5, 2009 at Roger Williams Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Preziosi) McGrath. He was born in Providence, a son of the late William and Anita (Fiore) McGrath. Mr. McGrath was a truck driver for the former C. Pezza & Sons Excavating. Anthony was a Steward for the Teamsters Local #251, a volunteer at the Amos House, and was also a US Navy veteran. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving daughters, Msgt. Laurie McGrath-Pelcher of the RI Air National Guard and her husband Louis Pelcher of East Greenwich, Casey Lynn McGrath of Harrisville. He was also the cherished grandfather of Brandon and Morgan Pelcher, brother of Capt. Susan Constantine, Ret. of FL and the late Barbara DiRisio and Edward McGrath. Anthony was also the brother in-law of Linda and Dr. Stephen Ide III of Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Home Service on Thursday at 10 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
