ANTHONY GIRAMMA

Anthony Giramma 84, of Cranston passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice In-Patient Center in Providence. A lifelong resident of Cranston, Mr. Giramma was the loving and devoted husband of the late Jeanette (Pellegrino) Giramma, to whom he was married for 50 years. He was the son of the late Giovanni and Teresa (Rubiano) Giramma and brother of the late Carmino and Joseph Giramma. He was the loving and devoted father of Patricia Giramma, of Providence. He is also survived by numerous loving family members and friends to whom he provided unwavering and constant support and kindness. Mr. Giramma was an avid gardener and volunteer for the Johnston Chapter of the American Association of Retired Persons. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theater. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary's Church Cranston St. Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 5-8 pm.
