ANTHONY F. GABRIELE

Anthony F. Gabriele, 82, of Gondola Avenue, Jamestown, died on Friday, March 27, 2009 at the South County Hospital. He was the husband of 60 years to Jennie (Kachnowicz) Gabriele. They would have celebrated their 61st anniversary in May. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Americo and Theresa (Iafrate) Gabriele. Mr. Gabriele was a machinist for the former Brown and Sharpe Manufacturing Company. He was an Army Veteran of WW-II. Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Jean Marie Gabriele of Narragansett, two sons, Anthony Gabriele and his wife Karen of Jamestown and Joseph Gabriele of Jamestown, "Pa" of Anthony Gabriele Jr. and Andrew Deacon, one sister, Assunta Bridge of Ct. He was also the brother of the late Frank Gabriele. His funeral and burial will be private.
